WESTERN CULTURE BEING INJECTED IN OUR EDUCATIONAL INSITITUTIONS

Being modern doesn’t mean that we forget all our cultural values, norms and traditions. Adopting others’ culture is not a bad thing but we should adopt the positive aspects of others’ culture. It’s necessary that we should preserve our culture, values and traditions. Nowadays our young generation is being attracted towards western culture. This is extremely dangerous. It is because of extra-curricular activities being held in the educational institutes. This is just eradicating our traditional values and culture.

Such extra-curricular activities include Halloween, Valentines’ day, etc. These western event are celebrated in the educational institutions with great pomp an show. This is affecting the young generation’s minds very badly. We as Muslims are teaching our children the western culture.

It is the responsibility of our government to take certain steps against such extra-curricular activities held at our educational institutes. Students should be taught about their culture and traditions.
